From Driver to Owner-Operator
At McLaughlin Freight, we believe in investing in the people who help build this company. We recently had one of our own drivers, Scott Bur, take the next step — leasing a truck directly from our owner and becoming an owner-operator. That kind of advancement isn't just possible here, it's something we actively support.
If you've got the drive and the experience, we want to help you grow. Whether you're looking to start as a company driver and work your way up, or you're ready to explore owner-operator opportunities now, let's have that conversation.
Start as a Company Driver
Join the McLaughlin team, learn our lanes and customers, and build a track record with us.
Lease a Truck from Our Owner
When the time is right, explore the opportunity to lease a truck directly from Dan McLaughlin and take control of your earnings.
Run as an Owner-Operator
Operate under the McLaughlin name with the support of our dispatch, relationships, and freight network behind you.
